The name of almost any appliance implies action, but doesn't always guarantee success. As with what you shouldn't put in a garbage disposal or dishwasher, the same applies with your dryer. Not only are certain items a safety hazard, but you could potentially end up destroying the items you could just as easily dry outdoors (weather permitting, of course).
