Most of us know what we should and shouldn't put in a microwave, but unless a container you're using is marked "microwave safe", you could be exposing yourself to harmful chemicals which leak into food during the cooking process. If microwave safety has you concerned, the USDA has provided a simple guide to which cooking, defrosting, and container options will keep you out of harm's way:

Call or schedule a service appointment online. Consult this link for a current list of consumer appliance recalls: https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/. If you believe you have a malfunctioning appliance, but do not see it on the list, call Hillside. We'll make sure you're safe either way.
